30 July – 6 August 2022 | Bodhi Path Retreat
If we look beyond the mesmerizing glimmer of appearances, we discover a world of wonder. Mind is a cognitive space that contains all the seeds of manifestation.
With benevolent eyes we can come to cherish others as ourselves. This progressively frees us from the obsessive need to secure exclusively the “I” and “Mine”. Through the regular exercise of calm abiding and the uncovering of the basic kindness of our mind, we can get in touch with our own awakening. More confidence will spring from this and loving kindness will naturally be engaged as compassion.
Learning, based on opening our heart and discovering a natural sense of discipline, will attune us to our Buddha Nature.
Meditation helps us not to be limited to our thinking process. We can open ourselves without fear, letting go of our small-mindedness.
Working with others is a question of being genuine in our relations. Without the world surrounding us we cannot attain enlightenment. Exchanging ourselves with other reveals inner authentic presence and helps us in giving up personal comfort and a fixed mind.
