26 – 29 May 2022  |  Bodhi Path Retreat

Why are we Buddhists?

During his visit to Bordo this year, the great scholar and meditation master Lama Jampa Thaye will explore the question of what it means to be a Buddhist. He will base his explanations on the four Seals of Dharma, which characterise all of Buddha’s teachings and explain his view of the world and reality.

The topics covered speak of the impermanence of all phenomena, of our mistaken belief in a separate and independent self, and of the relationship between emotions and suffering. The Buddha’s teachings show how we can free ourselves from our habitual tendencies and an unrealistic view of ourselves and others, and thereby attain real inner peace.
