Bordo is a place of heart and mind training, which is oriented to Buddha’s teachings and serves the well-being of all beings. Through courses, rituals, common festivities, seminars and conferences we cultivate and promote Buddhist mind training in the tradition of the Tibetan Karma Kagyu lineage.<\/p>\n
In order to be able to participate in the courses and other activities or to stay overnight in Bordo, it is essential to become a supporting member for the current year of the ‘Karma Dechen Yangtse’ foundation. The foundation is not profit-oriented. The activities are financed by donations and the annual fees of the participants. The membership expires automatically at the end of the year.<\/p>\n

There are many stone stairs and low door frames as well as areas with ruins. Therefore, please move with the necessary care. We ask parents to take care of their children and not to let them play in risky areas. Please also remember that the retreat area in the lower part of the village is a quiet zone.
