The traditional village with its simple infrastructure invites us to get in touch with others in a natural way, to free ourselves from the hectic pace of urban life and to focus on our real needs.
A stay in Bordo is only possible if you become a member of Karma Dechen Yangtse. All guests work one hour a day in the village to ensure it’s functioning.
For overnight stay and food you give a donation, which should be sufficient to cover the expenses as well as enable the maintenance and development of Bordo. We are happy to provide further information by email bordo@bordo.org.
Bordo, with its modest infrastructure, is not suitable for an actual holiday stay. In the nearer and further surroundings you will find an attractive range of overnight accommodations of all kinds. There is also no shortage of restaurants and bars where you can enjoy the excellent Piedmontese cuisine, local delicacies, a glass of wine or a fine coffee.
