Covid-19 Information

Covid-19 has had an impact on the activities in Bordo

In Bordo, too, the current situation has led to some substantial changes in the programme planned for 2020. You will be informed periodically via our newsletter (subscribe to newsletter) and on Facebook.

We expect, however, that from June onwards individual retreats of at least two weeks duration will be possible. Before making a request, please check the page on individual retreats.

Starting in July we are confident that we will be able to welcome guests.

Also from July we hope that it will be possible to hold Dharma and guest courses. Here the Bordo team is in contact with the course leaders. For guest courses you will be informed directly by the course leaders.

Generally for every stay in Bordo the following applies:

  • Please check by yourself the conditions of entry and exit for your country and for Italy. Each country has its own regulations, which can change very quickly.
  • Be aware that if the situation changes unexpectedly, your stay will not be possible at the desired time.

  • If your body temperature exceeds 37.5°C or if flu symptoms occur, entry into Italy is not possible. In case of increased body temperature on arrival or during the stay, the local health authority must be informed by us directly. The team will support you well in case of a possible self-isolation.

  • In Bordo we follow the rules of distancing, wear a face mask where required, wash or disinfect hands frequently and take special care when sneezing or coughing. Please bring the required facemasks with you.

  • In our municipality of Borgomezzavalle there has been only one, now recovered, case of Covid-19. It is very important to us that this does not change because of Bordo. Newcomers to the village are a special danger and so we ask you to take the necessary precautions.
