Our Dharma Course Program 2024/5
After the winter break, Bordo will open its doors again at the end of March 2024. To be able to participate in the activities it is necessary to have the annual membership of Karma Dechen Yangtse; this can be done on arrival. Daily multilingual meditations are open to all: they start at 7:30, 18:00 and 20:00.
Early registration for both courses and retreats is necessary to secure a place. We expect an offering for food and lodging which will enable us to cover the costs and maintain the village. Availability of single rooms is very limited. If you have any questions or would like to register for a course, the best way to contact us is by e-mail: bodhipath@bordo.org. Please note that e-mails are not processed daily!
We offer a Dharma programme with teachers in four languages. Translation is provided for some courses; this is indicated under ‘Course language’. Additional translation is possible in certain cases if several people wish to enrol firmly at an early stage. Courses in which personal exchange is important take place without translation.
The Dharma courses are open to all, unless otherwise stated. In certain cases, participation is only possible for people who have formally taken refuge in the 3 Jewels. In the case of Buddhist individual retreats it is necessary to already be very familiar with Buddhism and to have a practice that you wish to deepen. Please consult our homepage beforehand if you are interested. For actual silent retreats, please contact institutions and teachers who support this form. Exceptions are possible for group retreats led by qualified Buddhist teachers.
Bordo Leavelet 2024
If you would like to print out the annual Dharma program with the dates and a brief description of the events, you can find the PDF here. You are also welcome to distribute the flyers to interested persons or place them in your centre.
Unless otherwise stated, all events are suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners.
Participation fee: a share of the organisation costs and a donation for the teachers. Your generosity will enable them to pass on the Dharma in the future. The donations for accommodation and food should be sufficient to cover the expenses as well as the maintenance and operation of Bordo. We will be happy to provide you with further information.
